Who we are

Women of Genesis is created with the core principles in mind:
-We believe that all women have the capacity to give and receive love, to be creative and compassionate, to be hopeful and to offer that hope to others, to be in service to others and to the community.
-We believe that the Christian lifestyle is meant to be lived in community. Women are brought to faith, and become disciples of Jesus Christ, within the context of relationship.
-We believe that women are encouraged to pursue their giftedness, passions and interests, and when they invite others to join them in their passions and interests, that natural relationship will form. Within the context of relationship, opportunities will present themselves to share in the love of Jesus Christ, and to deepen relationship with Jesus and with others.

Women of Genesis exists to help women:
-claim their interests and passions,
-connect with others inside the church who share those interests and passions,
-reach out to women outside of their church, inviting them to share in our interests and passions,
-continually deepen relationships that are formed so that those relationships ultimately become disciple relationships
